After four years of serving the Lakeland region, Astro Oilfield Rentals is taking the next step with a larger, better-suited shop just east of La Corey, strategically located between Bonnyville and Cold Lake.
The new facility builds on the presence we’ve established through our previous location, giving us more room to prepare equipment, support day-to-day operations and deliver the dependable service our customers expect. It’s a practical investment in how we work today and how we can grow in the years ahead.
“Investing more into the Lakeland region is a natural next step,” says Devon McCullough, President and CEO. “Proximity to our customers cuts travel time and helps us serve them more efficiently. A larger facility builds on the region’s strengths and gives us room to grow alongside our customers as their operations evolve.”
For Astro employee Sean, who recently moved to the area, the appeal of the Lakeland region extends well beyond the workday. “Oh I think it’s some beautiful country. The sunrises and sunsets are always a treat around here,” says Sean. “It can be both quiet and bustling, and the people I’ve met have been friendly and welcoming.”
That balance of opportunity and community is something we’re proud to keep building on. Four years in, we’ve had the chance to establish relationships and support customers across the region. This larger shop gives us a stronger foundation for continuing that work. As we get settled into the upgraded space, we look forward to reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting more of our new neighbours in La Corey.
